Phillips, Kovacic, Stones and Lewis all can. Ake is probably the next best candidate.Could he play in Rodri/DM position when he needs a break?

You see thats the kind of response that both Liverpool and the Rags managers dwelt on. Stay with the old guard and they wont let us down.Far better to bring new players in.You`re stuck in the 1970/80s if you think that squad rotation is a bad thing. Why?
No doubt a good player but doesn’t the defence who’ve won a treble deserve their places in the pecking order?
Reminds me of the Kevin Bond signing which split up the really promising Cayon and Reid partnership in the early 80’s
You can't really rule that out with Pep in chargeCould he play in Rodri/DM position when he needs a break?
Was also thinking this would be class there has all the attributesCould he play in Rodri/DM position when he needs a break?
I would imagine that a Philips is going to get that chance next season.Phillips, Kovacic, Stones and Lewis all can. Ake is probably the next best candidate.
He can do what Stones does from the leftWas also thinking this would be class there has all the attributes
Was just thinking there must be another angle besides playing as a CB and maybe Laporte doesn’t yet need to leave. Was also thinking this would be class there has all the attributes
Because standing still and not strengthening the team leaves us making the same mistake as dippers and scum have made in the past. Always strengthen from a position of power .Why?

Too many daft fuckers worry too much about the cost.ITS NOT OUR BASTARD MONEY we keep shouting at them.Who cares.
Came across this youtube video and it shows what he will bring to our team. I have to say his passing is ridiculous. man is passing like KDB already. and he is such a aggressive defender like Dias or Akanji. He is probably thrice the player Rice already is and that is way 100 mil pound was a mental thing to pay for Rice. with due respect Rice is not a generational talent like Gvardiol. This will be Simply a sensational signing for us.

Whilst he isn't the second coming of Vincent Kompany and the fee does seem excessive he is good enough as an Eric Laporte replacement (although it is slightly disappointing on how that has ended). Why?

Declan Rice is a Crab apple, Gvardiol is a Pink Lady!In fairness, Rice isn’t a centre back - should only compare apples to apples.
WOW a massive £1.58 per home game. Worth every fucking penny jrb. ;)It is!
My season ticket went up by £30. ;-)
I would hope this is a lesson we learned well from the past too…Because standing still and not strengthening the team leaves us making the same mistake as dippers and scum have made in the past. Always strengthen from a position of power .
