It’s like the accepted orthodoxy now though. Like, we must have the most scrutinised operations of any club. But apparently we get away with it

Regardless of who they buy he (ten bob) doesn't have the tactical nouse to utilise his players in the same way Pep does - and Arteta, to a certain degree. So even if the rags had ten billion to spend on players, they would still be a mid-table club simply because of his limitations and his poor reading of how a game is progressing (some of his subs have made me laugh out loud because they didn't make any sense).

Personally I think it's going to take them a good five years or so before they can consistently challenge for the Prem/FA Cup/Champions League etc.

This buy off the Qataris seems nothing more than a vanity project , already the talk is the owner wants Neymar as a statement signing , with the likes of Murtough and Darren Fletcher as technical director then I’d say the top 4 has nothing to worry about - couple that with Ferguson , Charlton et all still stinking the place out then it could be fun times ahead , throw FFP into the mix and they can’t spend what their deluded fans like , FFP is going to firmly bite them on the arse , poetic fucking justice I say ! You only have to look at Chelsea and that buffoon who owns them as a clear indicator that money means fuck all. We are blessed with the best owners and structure in world football. Let’s see what managerial structures they make, they are light year behind us.

The funny thing is that the rags do have a massive income stream but due to sterling work undertaken by the Glazers and the terrible management decisions taken, they are in a ridiculous financial situation where they are fucked by FFP.

Long may it last , and any new owner ( yes I know ) coming in will manage to fuck it up in what has become the norm.

We truly have pissed all over them and it feels truly wonderful.
 
Mount is a shit signing , he is a pretty boy who will sell shirts ideal for the Rags , his stats are shite , goals and assists are garbage and when i have watched him play he is totally anonymous and does not influence games in anyway.
Waistcoat likes him but that explains a lot , he puts Foden on the bench for every England game , so Waistcoats judgement is seriously flawed.
If Mount plays every game next season he will not get into double figures for assists or goals , he is a poster boy with very limited talent , Chelsea have swam the channel getting £60m for him.
