In the market for a new car at the moment. It’s probably just me getting old but cars seem so much less better looking than they used to.

Anyway, off to my werthers originals and comfy slippers.

The long lost delights of pop up headlights which were banned due to safety regulations around collisions with pedestrians in the early 2000s.

When i say 'all over' i think we got as far south as Stoke. Car was on its roof when we got back to it.

A TR7, haven’t seen one of those in years.

No list could be complete without one of these… I also liked the more modern version they brought out in the early 90s.

I had a nova gte in the early '90s. Mentally fast, no power steering, fabulous fun and a great immobiliser that meant I could just walk up the road and get it back when it was stolen every couple of weeks...

TR6 was always the much nicer one for me

I had a 2.8 injection special with full body kit
Great car if travelling on a straight road

Great car, had a 2.8i with the pepper pot wheels after my mk2 Capri GL. Would have loved a Kat or Tickford but way beyond my wallet.

Very nice! Not sure an Integrale counts as affordable/ achievable though(!)
I had a red HF Turbo and a regular old silver 1300 like the one in the pic I posted.

I don't think cars for the rich, in anyone's definition, would include the Škoda Yeti!
