Spot-on. And they seem so defensive about “us not being their rival” even though we have been bitter rivals since 1894. Anyone born and brought up in Manchester knows what it’s like at school and every workplace. The LFC rivalry was manufactured to squeeze more money out of overseas fans. It didn’t really exist before the late 1980s.
You can see how that perception of rivalry would have come about. Liverpool were the footballing powerhouse of the previous 15 years or so until the rags came on the scene with their new found wealth.
Then Ferguson declared war by openly stating they were going to knock Liverpool off their perch.
We might have been their geographical and historic rivals at that time but in terms of competing for trophies, we were nowhere when the rags were at the height of their powers.

According to the United fans I know Garnacho is a Muppet. Plenty of talent but a bad attitude. One guy in particular has been talking him up fro a couple of years before he even hit the first team but according to him all their youth team are better than City's and half of them are the best player he's ever seen and should be starting for United. He also thinks Foden is rubbish so I'm beginning to doubt his judgement

Anybody in here more familiar with United than me, what is the likelihood that Garnacho gets more game time this season? From what I've seen of the weird lookin bloke - I know he can strike a ball.

I've seen his odds to score 10 league goals are 12/1. Is that good value?

Surely if he starts ~ 20 matches and comes off the bench in others this will hit. But does he have a place in the XI as it stands?
Apparently has disciplinary issues
Turning up late for training and ruffled a few feathers in the dressing room.
The old Billy big bollocks routine and according to a few rag mates is the reason he doesn’t get to start some games.

There must be something in the background, shirley he is worth a start over Antony, if not.

Well, let's see how he performs when he's no longer just a youth full of spunk and self confidence who comes on late in a game and is allowed free reign to be as selfish as he likes and do as he pleases... let's see how he does when he actually has to have a degree of responsibility and play as part of the team and when the opposition start to figure him out.

I predict he'll go the same way as all the others I mentioned and have a mediocre career at best.

And if, by some quirk of Fate, he does turn out to be decent, a big club will come in for him.

Another rag "supporter" crawling out of the woodwork.

When asked what he watches on TV, celebrity chef and restaurateur Michel Roux says: "Rugby - or Manchester United, if they're on".

In othwr words,a typical celeb who knows nothing about football, and has no conneection with the north-west, but thinks that Man Utd are worth watching because ..........I can't actually think why. Does he think it's "cool"?

Stick to cooking, Michel - or, as they say in your country, "Ta gueule, con".........
“ So Michel Roux Junior, as a Michelin star chef, can you cook books ?”

Give him a break - born in Kent, lives in London, French dad - who else is he going to support? It's not like he'd have done it in the smug certainty that they'd carry on being successful.

I dont know the comparison between the amount of penalties they have had v us and the amount we have had v them but I’m sure the figures are startling. The Keith Curle pen for example is probably the last pen we were given at old trafford, 31 years ago. Incredible statistic, given they seem to be given one on every visit to the Etihad.

Followed Matt Wallace around at West Lancs in the Open qualifying. Great golfer, unfortunately he's a cockney rag, spotted 2 rag headcovers in his bag. What's up with Chelsea, Spurs, Watford etc.
