Its early days, but ive noticed already that automatically following your Instagram connections may be good for you to start on a certain number, but ive already deleted a lot of those im only interested in their IG content...and not what they would post on "twitter".

I want to keep IG and Threads as 2 very separate apps....and perhaps you are a good example...i follow you on IG, but i wonder which would be most relevant or suitable. No offence intended as i really like your content, but im not following you on both if its just a duplication.

Thats a big consideration for content creators

I’ve deleted and can’t see myself going back but is there any hope.

Currently I’m missing ticket information, breaking news and bits of sport banter.

Honestly If you feel like you’re missing out then just restore your account.

Subscriber numbers won’t make any difference, the Saudis and Russians will continue to pump money in to keep it going until such point as it ceases to be a valuable tool for them.

I don’t like Musk so I’ll find another way. At present, I’m checking sites every few days for when various things are due to go on sale.

Twitter has lost almost half of its advertising revenue since it was bought by Elon Musk for $44 billion (£33.6bn) last October, its owner has revealed.

He said the company had not seen the increase in receipts that had been expected in June, but added that July was a "bit more promising."

Mr Musk sacked about half of Twitter's 7,500 staff when he took over in 2022 in a effort to cut costs.

Rival app Threads now has 150 million users, according to some estimates.

I’ve deleted the app, as could see the way the algorithms were pushing more and more extreme tweets/posts in the For You section.

I noticed that after i liked a work out routine, I was getting a load of more right wing / misogynistic / culture wars tweets pumped through.

It was noticeable.

The only thing that changed was my ‘like’ as I don’t post at all or like stuff that much.

I don’t miss it

I was thinking that the other week, I was being shown proper right wing American shite. Moved over to threads as that rate limit was doing my head in. Barely look at that though except when I am in work.
