He is literally the antithesis of what Grealish offers on that side...

Whatever happened behind the scenes aside, what he was mostly doing (or rather, not doing) on the pitch in the first half of last season, was borderline criminal. Only highlight is THAT Haaland assist.

Incredible footballer 'on his day' (lump him up with Pogba, Ozil etc.), but, unfortunately or fortunately, this side and current set-up has evolved past the need for him

Think I heard him saying.. he has a lot of contacts and the hardest part is sifting through which one is more accurate since info changes from day to day and when he's not willing to bet his career on it, he will just be vague rather than confident.

Also since he's targeting a career as a City journalist, he can't say anything negative about the club or its fans.

Very much a Pep-type player.

I'm surprised how many seem to be against it. He's much more of a potential Gundogan replacement in my eyes than Kovacic is. Although maybe somewhat surprisingly he just signed a new contract so it seems very unlikely he leaves.
