Walker Laporte Gundogan Bernardo Mahrez on top of Cancelo who basically left last Jan is a massive overhaul going to be a busy few weeks hope the club were prepared for this

It’s going to have to be direct replacements because you cannot go into a season with more games with less players than last season. Zero chance, regardless if he likes smaller squads or not.

We'll be fine no matter what happens.

To paraphrase Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park... "Pep finds a way!"

My best guess is Walker, Cancelo, Bernie, Mahrez and Laporte will all be gone.

I’d assume the club will have known this for a while and drawn up replacements too. Considering how well run we are.

I can’t imagine we’ve been caught unawares with our pants round our ankles.

Could be an exciting window after all. That many faces going demands some sort of response from the club, it’s a small squad as it is so it’ll need to be replenished.

Grow up.

Would 99% of people put themselves ahead of the company they work for if they felt they weren’t being given fair opportunities ? The answer is yes.

I didn’t think schools broke up for summer until Friday.
Hahaha

Cancelo acted like a petulant child. Pep couldn’t wait to get rid. He ran into the same issues with his previous club. He is a dickhead who happened to be lucky enough to play for city. Once he didn’t get his own way, out came the tantrum. The worshipping of some players is embarrassing. Another footballer who acts like a twat….shocked -:)

I doubt Pep feels that way. The Man is a serial winner, he doesn't accept second best.
agreed, but I was responging to those flapping if a few players leave as to them, it meant total colapse something that is both stupid and also not going to happen.

I fear some on here would have strokes if we had a season like chelsea did last year, some of them either never experienced our past or have so soon forgotten that anything less of top 2 would have them jumping from the CiS building

So you're saying a squad containing Ederson, Ortega, Akanji, Dias, Ake, Stones, Rodri, De Bruyne, Kovacic, Lewis, Phillips, Grealish, Foden, Alvarez, Haaland + inevitable new signings + our academy talent wouldn't finish top 4?

Deary me.
Did you read what i said. Hes on about 5 of those players replacing our 5 experienced players. No incomings

It is noticeable that three of the lead stories on the OS are about the Academy. I suspect, and hope (somewhat), that this is the season that we see more integration, with Palmer, Rico, Bobb, McAtee and others gaining some real first-team experience.

Anyone going for slabhead is madness

I’ll get shit for this but get him out of that shithole environment and I think he’ll be an asset to most top clubs in the league. There’s a reason we were so keen a few years back and he wouldn’t be the first to hit a developmental brickwall while at the rags only to rediscover something elsewhere.

Chelsea's trouble was they made too many signings in one transfer window without any form of strategy

Pep is one of the best but he isn't a miracle worker. We won't lose both Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez in one transfer window.
Not really up to him now though is it? He has convinced Bernardo to stay twice. Now it’s the 3rd year, just a case of valuation, whoever matches it Pep won’t stand in his way after.
