we win a shitload of trophies so its fine, but transfer season always seem to be a bit of a circus with us.
City apart from when there is a release clause for a player, will always have a maximum value they will pay for a player. They will not deviate from this strategy and as you mentioned it doesn't seem to stop us winning trophies.

And if he picks up a serious injury while fucking about premium season ?
They lose 100 mill
That is their loss, not ours. They will be aware of how much money they can make off of this. Different case if they’re trying to hold on to him, which isn’t true since they’re just a selling club. It’s just a matter of time. They will also want to create more drama by involving another club.

Usually at the asking price it is easy to create links to other clubs. The positive bit is no other club has come in (yet) or linked to try for a move. It has just been City and City only. Price is definitely a factor I guess, but shows we’ve been working on this for a while.

Unfortunately, all we know is it’s amateur hour from either City or Leipzig. Hopefully one way or another it is closed as quickly as possible.
I don’t think it’s amateur hour on behalf of either club. Sometimes we get frustrated because it takes time. Both clubs involved have their own agenda and need to look after their own interests. We live in a world of 24 hour news and information has become a valuable commodity. Unless you tune out of the noise and are prepared to have patience, you will allow yourself to be influenced by dick heads like that weird Romaro character and his childishness tweets and catchphrases.

That said I do still enjoy the speculation and the info posted here by those who share what they are told. Keep it up fellers..

Don't understand what difference it makes if they don't want the fee known and waiting for a replacement at Leipzig ,any selling club will know Leipzig have come or are coming into money and will need a centre half or they must live in a cave ?
The difference is you have made facts when Gvardiol has signed for City. Leipzig then would need a replacement good enough for CL.
Lyon would have a field day threatening they only sell to their conditions.

If Leipzig KNOW they can sell Gvardiol 100% at an agreed price (which still seems the case to me) they don't a have a (big) risk buying first. Now they can negotiate with Lyon and have the cards to say 'no, in that case we keep Gvardiol'. And keep him (or at least they could claim it). They don't have to sell after having brought in enough cash.
