Is anyone else unable to subscribe to City+?
It won't accept my card for some reason but all above board for credit etc? ... I was hoping to watch todays friendly but it looks unlikely if i can't subscribe.

I've just subscribed but being a bit of an idiot I'm not sure now how I watch the match. Do I have to download an app or just log in to the website? Can I watch it on my TV or laptop or just my phone, which would be a bit shit. Ideally will have it on my laptop while simultaneously watching us roll over the Aussies on my TV but I suspect that won't be happening.

I just resubscribed for the 4.99 then immediately cancelled it. Allows me to watch the 3 friendlies and stops on the 23rd Aug. Not bothered about it after that. Everything pretty much goes on YouTube for free anyway.

You just go to the City+ on City app and it'll say subscribe/ log in ... did you use debit card? I'm just wondering if the credit card is the issue? ‍

yeah was a debit card. All seems a bit meh though as although I've downloaded the app to my firestcik the match isn't available on TV and the app isn't available to download on my Mac, so it's the phone or if I'm lucky the wife's iPad. Well, she is out dodging the rain at the flower show this morning...

It's simple enough just via a web browser on your laptop.

Depending on your TV (eg LG), you can install the app and watch on there.

1961_vintage is right. But you can cast from a browser to chromecast too.

I've found installing the app on a firestick is the least frustrating way of watching live games once you've managed to log in.

I’ve installed it on the firestick and there’s a scrolling message saying the match not available on TV app but presumably is on firestick? Assuming the cricket doesn’t start on time then I guess I’m good to go for the game

I've watched city+ with firestick on different tv's using either opera or silk browsers. With the app or browser it will give you the login page address and a code number, you then use your phone to pair your tv with the app.

I had this last pre season. Just ended up casting from my phone to the TV.

Even when the app worked, the picture quality was grim

I usually get it on my iPad then mirror screen it onto the big telly. It's worked OK in the past.

It's strange, I can't see the match build up on City+ but can see this on the normal City app.

For some reason it says not available on the app. Signed into mancity.com on the amazon web browser, picture seems good and looking forward to seeing the younger players getting a chance.
