I'd have made a full and final ages ago. Even 80m is a bit on the rich side for me.

Time to look at other options, which I'm sure we have.
Surely the player is fuming at not getting his move why would Brighton want to keep a player after that

Brighton, I suspect, think they can just hold tight until we fold.

I feel that we have to take a leaf out of City's book, and walk away if they won't accept 80m.

Caicedo has already publicly objected to the money Brighton are demanding, but then again he signed a new long term deal only 6 months or so ago, so if he really wanted a move he hasn't really helped himself. At the very least he's been poorly advised.

Look at the players we've lost. Rudiger, Christensen, Mount. They all refused a new deal and got their way.

If chelsea had of bid 50m for Lavia they would have him now forget Brighton over priced decent player get this kid

100 per cent. Lavia would be a far better move.

Caicedo is very good, but he's not worth 70m imho, let alone 80.

I really hope we walk away from this crazy situation. Has been going on far too long already.

Just mocking your post. I saw the team you had relegated, also saw your first FA Cup win so that relegation was a poorer season. Have followed your posts since you joined but you are turning into a bit of a knob like fans of other clubs do when they have been on here for a while.

Understanding football fans ingrained bias even how they try to be impartial doesn't bother me one bit(maybe a little[emoji16]) because its a rare case that another football supporter goes on another forum and not be a tiny bit bias after a bit! Understanding that and how its going to pan out makes you just go...Meh..

Haha. How arrogant are you to be telling a Chelsea fan how they should feel about any given Chelsea season?

I certainly wouldn't have the brass neck to be telling City fans anything about what they've lived through supporting their team.

Thanks for following me though.

No, you come across as a spoilt Chelsea fan since Matthew Harding put his money in. I’ll never forget all our relegations and call a season where we’re half way down the table as our worst ever. City fans of my, and my son’s, generation won’t forget either.

For the record, I quite enjoyed Roman putting his money in and watching the signings. We were nothing at the time but haven’t things changed now since our owners appeared from fans of the entitled. I include the (new) Chelsea fans in that.

I consider everyone’s opinion. It seems as though you have forgotten your bad old days. Even at my advanced age dementia hasn’t set in yet and I know our darkest seasons

You've instantly dismissed my opinion. And insulted me also with name calling before we'd even interacted.

And all because I have a different opinion about my team than you do about my team?!

Is that where your years of experience have led you to sir? I hope I'm kinder than that when I get old.

He later qualified that it may not have been their worst season ever but was the worst in terms of not meeting expectations.
If city finished 9th next season it wouldn't be our worst season ever (by a long way!) but it would probably be the worst ever in that it would be the biggest difference between where we expect to finish and where we actually finish.

Just for clarification, is this season truly your lowest point or did you attend before the cash rolled in?
I attended in the eighties as a young kid, as I already mentioned today in an earlier post. As my biggest follower I'd have thought you'd have read that! :)

Look, it's all good. I respect my elders, even when they're insulting me!

I believe this season is our worst because it hasn't just been the football that's been terrible.

Our new rookie owners have spent enough money to run a small country, we've found that half our team are snakey, and had to smash out the foundations and start over. I don't recall that happening before.

Don’t follow everything, just pop in now and then so obviously missed those posts.I reiterate that the posts I’ve seen previously from yourself and Vialli have been good. Don’t stop posting
