1-2 years ago Gallagher wasn’t nearly good enough for Chelsea. Since then he’s stagnated you’ve spent a billion & he starts & was leading them out as Skipper the last game I saw……

Make it make sense?

The main two captains were injured, and as has been established, Silva doesn't need the armband to lead. In fact when Chilwell got subbed off he gave the armband to Silva who immediately handed it to Enzo. He knows he's the main leader of this team.

I honestly don’t understand what he does. He’s not a goal threat and he’s not a ball winner. What does he do?

Why have you only won 3 games with him in the team?

He sets the tempo, if you watch Chelsea he's usually the guy making the difficult pass to set up a really promising situation to the winger, fullback or Jackson before the potential assist, like when Jackson scored vs Luton, Sterling with a nice cross but it was Enzo's exquisite pass that got him into all that open space. Enzo makes the team tick but it's hard for him to do so when Poch essentially has him playing second striker behind Jackson.

In fairness, I do not count any games from last season, 80% of his games last season were coached by Lampard with the team in free fall and half the players had thrown the towel in because they knew they were leaving in the summer.

Team is still in free fall without lamps.

Fair enough. I’ve not spotted much of you controlling games, so he’s not really setting much of a tempo, to me anyway.

Luton at home probably won’t be his most difficult game he plays this season.

I may well, be wrong, but haven’t seen anything that excites me as of yet.

The Luton example was just an example since it was one of the only games we actually scored in :)

We've controlled almost every game we've played so far, in fact I'd argue we've controlled every single game, so to that I'd say maybe watch us a bit closer? ;)

Yes results wise but not performance wise. Under Lamps lots of players stopped trying, stopped giving a shit. We were the second best team in almost every single game we played. That's what I'm talking about.

I'm sure if they had a finisher there wouldn't be in this deep shite. They haven't had a decent striker since Costa. I thought maybe Poch would have a whirl with Lukaku but even he didn't fancy it. This Jackson chap is a glorified Carlton Cole/Carl Cort right now lol

Ermm indeed, free fall.
