He's scored a couple - has only taken half a dozen in his career, compared with around 40 for Haaland. but I suspect he'll do alright. He's confident, and hits the ball really hard.

That's untrue. He has taken a couple and has looked confident. If not, we have a lot of players capable of slotting a penalty. KDB, Foden, Ederson, and even Stones can strike the ball. Maybe Kovacic too, not sure. Wouldn't worry about it.

Sterling may be the premier league player with the least conviction in front of goal. He goes through phases where he can put it away but he is the last man I want standing over the ball with the game on the line.

He has a 50% conversion rate as a professional. 4 goals and 4 misses from 8 attempts. I could score at a similar rate. My point stands, the last guy I'd want stepping up.

Fun fact: Sterling holds the record for most penalties won in the PL. The fact he has only take a couple should show he's not that guy haha.

Just realised we won't have Riyad nicking penalties off the Viking next year. Loved Mahrez but I never felt confident in him from the spot after he ballooned that one at Anfield.
