but this lad can play,go past defenders either side,has pace ...reminds me of Saka

He’s like a Mahrez clone. Which is by no means a bad thing.

He’s an exciting player but I was kind of hoping we’d go for somebody a bit different who attacks their full backs at pace. Somebody with a bit of unpredictable chaos to them.
 
Doku would be available right away, whereas Olise is out till October. Olise has a better suited profile. It’s just a case of who Pep wants more

Txiki does love a clause, and Doku is, as reported, a 15-25m more expensive.

I think City can do a Gundogan here and buy him for cheap, as he fits the profile, and rely on what we got until October.

Well Haaland is someone who can attack anyone with pace and he has a chance to do it maybe once every 3 games. The way we play being so close to the box 90% of the time pace is useless. You only need it on walker to clean up the mess.

Doku's asking price is reportedly €50m, which is £43m. But that can be negotiated down.

He's certainly not 15-25m more expensive.

October is the expected return right, but even then you’d have to rely on him fitting into the team, CL and Prem, plus club World Cup, our depth will be tested here. Slight gamble on whether they think he’s the best option. Because I’d say he’d barely make any impact this season’s first half.
