I’d rather sell him with a buy back option - he’s a good passer of the ball, but I feel he could be destroyed for pace in the Premier League, and his value would diminish before next summer.

Yeah might not be right for us with the high line we play, but there are a lot of teams who defend deeper and more compactly that he'd shine in. There are a lot of top flight centre backs who aren't lightning quick.

There are plenty of decent PL centre-backs that aren’t particularly quick - Mee, Ream, Dawson, Dunk, Andersen etc. I’m sure it won’t be too much of an issue for THB

We will probably start the season with 5 elite centre backs and a couple of fullbacks,i dont see any sense in keeping a kid who needs to push on with his career for the sake of what if's or maybe's.

We have a couple of other academy prospects knocking at the door if we get that desperate.
