Will be a good move if he plays regularly. They only recently secured Branthwaite on loan from Everton and they already had a few centre backs there as it is. I thought PNE would be a better move, but hopefully it works out for him!

Yep,i was thinking the same,but if he can secure a spot in that Blackburn side then it bodes very well for his future.

A good loan move for a team that give youngsters a chance.

I don’t agree with other posters on youth loans - ie if you go on loan you won’t play for us. I think we have a few youngster who have the potential to be first team players regardless of loan moves. Bellis is one of them

If he gets regular games it's a very good move for him. Some benefit more from training with the first team but I think he needs to be playing competitive mens football now if he's to progress enough to make a contribution in our squad in the future. he's got a lot of work to do and it's going to require a lot of patience but he has what it takes if he's up for it.

If you mean the summer that just passed (2020), then to do it 6 months later in the next window is not that much of a time difference.

If you mean the summer of 2019, then he was only 17, clubs rarely loan out 17 year old defenders, they usually play U21 football for a year atleast. Personally think 17 is also too young for a defender, they need more time.
