Laporte and some cash for Joao ? We have bad experience with Portuguese players with name Joao in out club
When are people going to learn with this fella. He ain't good enough at the top level. Literally not progressed in the past several seasons.
He should take the Saudi cash and just chill out for the rest of his career.
to be fair, i didn't see anything from any chelsea player last seasonI didn't see anything when he was on loan at Chelsea to suggest he would be good for City. It's a no from me

He does come across as a very languid person. Plays football like hes in slippers.Personality?
Pep seems to like nice characters BUT also ones who are fighters and battlers not moany wankers and people who wont run through walls for him and the team....ala a Bernardo for instance...or a Stones or Dias - ones who are technically brilliant BUT also have the fight in them.....
Looking at Felix he has the technical ability but does he have that fight?
And that will.be why we have zero interest in himHe does come across as a very languid person. Plays football like hes in slippers.
You can be successful doing that of course.
TBH I thought him going to Atletico would improve his discipline, instill some grit and determination but instead he has gone the opposite way. He is now drifting through his career, he is on huge wages and atletico have a 100m transfer fee to be paid. Its been a complete mess in all honesty.

Are more keen on the idea of him hypothetically coming, because we were once linked with him when he had potential at a young age? Had we not been linked with him then, would anyone really be thinking he is the player for us with his current carrer?
And if Alvarez is going to struggle for game time then felix would probably to....I love alvarez and think its a shame as he wont get much game time as his talent deserves as I dont think our system will allow us to play both him and Erling (unless Alvarez plays high and wide in the front three....he works hard as a number 10 but he wont get in there (and shouldnt get in there) ahead of KDB or Bernardo or Foden.....neither would felixI'll repeat myself......he has talent,he did show it at Chelsea on the occasions he got minutes.....and a manager like Pep would show him the love to make that talent consistent and better.
Not sure he would even be a consideration though, with Alvarez on board.
We have a lot of games to play, last season we had few long term injuries, Haaland particularly kept healthy, that may not always be the case. And if Alvarez is going to struggle for game time then felix would probably to....I love alvarez and think its a shame as he wont get much game time as his talent deserves as I dont think our system will allow us to play both him and Erling (unless Alvarez plays high and wide in the front three....he works hard as a number 10 but he wont get in there (and shouldnt get in there) ahead of KDB or Bernardo or Foden.....neither would felix
