Chelsea pretty much there now with Caicedo unfortunately, some bloody squad there
Isn't that the point.
Better player i’d sayI haven't seen much of this lad. Would people rate him better than or equal to Rice?
So am I, but at it stands I don't believe there's a level playing field. Some can and some can't. To me that's what is really sickening...even if it's just how things are projected by the media. Regardless of the fact of how much the club has grown as a global brand no one will convince me that the majority of the biased journalism that's been directed at us over our finances does not have a negative drag on our profile around the world. I can't think of one club in the world in any major professional sport that's been as successful as ours both on and off the pitch being persistently projected in such a negative light.Wasteful yeah, no strategy yeah, but I'm
not having sickening.
I’m firmly in the camp that believes owners of clubs should be able to invest what they want, on who they want. Just like every other business in the capitalist world.

That said, fuck 'em all...
With what we've accomplished and with where we currently stand why should we expect anything less than an overwhelming amount of positive press rather than a "we get some good press too". I'm not saying that is what you are saying but the fact remains, and it's a fact, that we get much more negative press than positive press and nowhere near the amount of positive coverage that would be commensurate to our success. When you’re top of the tree you’re there to be shot at, but city also get a lot of praise from the media, especially I’ve the last 2-3 season when it comes to us generating revenues from the academy
Not another 100m drop!?
Apparently how much money you spend doesn’t matter anymore - it used to be “splashing the cash” now it’s “building, supporting, investing” - funny that isn’t it - ah well never mind eh?I have searched the web this morning, and not 1 article bemoaning Chelsea’s spending. 800m in 2 windows. If it was city and our owners though…

yep and not a single mention of it, however you will find articles that pep has spent 1.2bn in 7 years at city and how awful that isNearly £1bn on transfers if/when the Caicedo deal goes through in 3 transfer windows?
More importantly for me and a question that is not asked, where is the money from the forced sale of Chelsea?yep and not a single mention of it, however you will find articles that pep has spent 1.2bn in 7 years at city and how awful that is
