Last episode of Star Trek Strange New world was good and the to be continued at the end is like the old days with the star trek series..

Been watching Station Eleven. I read 'Sea of Tranquility' earlier this year by the same author and really liked that so decided I'd take the plunge with this.

Post-apocalyptic show after a flu virus wipes out a shitload of the world population (written before the Covid pandemic, though).

5 episodes watched. Its weird and fragmented. Slow to start but I really like it.
Finished this last night. Thought it dragged a bit and got a bit boring here and there, but at the same time intrigued enough to see how it ended. 6.9/10

Mission To Burnley:

A four part Sky Original documentary series on .. well Burnley Football club. A good watch to be fair and just binged the first two episodes. It's been said they stand the dead up in Burnley bus shelters, just to make it look busy.

Edit: Just watched the remaining two episodes and very nice too, especially the win win scenario to beat the bastard rovers and take a title.

Not as good as our docu, but well put together nevertheless. Vincent did well bringing the Dingles back from the abyss.

Stumbled upon broadchurch this week, somehow it had passed me by.
Binged the first S, now halfway into S2.
Not a fan of tenant but he pulls this off ok. Olivia Coleman, brilliant, she's such a great actress, particularly in S1 ep8.
No wonder she went on and won baftas etc.
Bit of a mention for Pauline quirk, playing a minor role early doors, slightly menacing character, nicely played, and vicky mclure, solid.
Great whodunnit drama
