Player probably wants consistent gametime to grow after the hit he had this summer. West Ham would be a great platform for him. City are looking for two players that will lower his game time a lot.

Win-Win-Win if hes going to West Ham in this Paqueta-negotiations.

You start off with "nobody even wanted 3 weeks ago", you haven't a fucking scooby about this.

As for the point of selling Palmer, the lad hasn't progressed since he broke into the first team squad. What are we keeping him for, Pep doesn't trust him like he did Foden. So if West Ham want him and it helps us get Paqueta then thats what you will do.

Bold claim. Can't say I know enough about Doku, and I do rate Palmer. Both are longer term players that need to develop. Either might turn out to be better than the other in time.

However if Palmer wants to leave to play more, as Pep has suggested 3 times now, then it is all moot.

Selling Palmer and signing Doku also means another senior player needs to leave the squad btw. So if that's what the club are planning, they'll have good reason for letting Palmer go and taking a chance on Doku.

Mad man Moyes is playing Bowen at striker, Cole is to replace Bowen on the wing. That’s what West Ham sources say

Maybe nobody wanted 3 weeks ago was hyperbole. But definitely nobody was suggesting we outlay more than Bellingham ended up going to Real Madrid for on Paqueta at the start of the window. I actually reckon Inter would snap our hands off if we put that fee down for Barella, without offering Cole aswell.
