Nobody can accuse him of unprofessional behaviour after watching that. I thought he showed the qualities we thought we were getting with Phillips.

Can see why he’s considered a priority signing by the club. When you look at the positions he can play and the type of player he is, he is able to be moulded into what Bernardo is, whilst also replacing a lot of what Gundo had and also being a long term creator with KDB nearing the end. Put all that together and he becomes a key signing. I didn’t get it at first but now I’m desperate for him tbh.

Reminds me of a hybrid of Tevez, Dave & Fernandinho, what's not to like.

True. But surely Phillips wants to leave at this stage. We're at the point now where his international career will crumble also. I'm sure he'd pick up a similar salary at Wham United, along with regular game time.

In all fairness, in a market where Caicedo is 115m and KDB is probably out for a while, AND Pep has wanted Paqueta for a while, i can see 85-100m being justified in our poisition.

KDB is once of generation talent, people think talent like him will be so easy to identify is going to have reality check very quick.

Not sure many think that, mate.

However Merlin, Yaha, Aguero and others were “irreplaceable”. We’ve coped by assimilating players with slightly different attributes rather than always like-for-like replacements.

An example that springs to mind is Rodri for Fern. Nothing like each other but both do/did superb jobs.

Should actually be a fair valuation... 85-90 mil and they get a fair price on Palmer (30). But im afraid they see our desperation and push it.
