By using that rationale you used? You're perfectly entitled to your opinion, of course (as is the other poster). But it's not a particularly well thought out argument. I've offered various strident opinions on music on the forum, and it's all I can do to write my signature these days, never mind a musical composition.

Shite is just Falkirk for I don’t particularly appreciate the songwriting/production/vocals/arrangements/lyrics/cut of that boys jib on that song. It is rather efficient if not exactly laser focused.

There is something so wrong with this, that oasis currently leads is beyond laughable and I'm a huge fan. Don't look back in anger is a great tune and it gets talked down because well its popular.

But when it comes to a vote people have to prefer it to the Beatles because we'll they are even more popular because they were just better.

The sadness of people refusing to conform to the obvious to make themselves seem different is laughable.

The hardest choice I've had to make in a long time. DLBIA probably the better sing a long when bladdered but went with Let it be simply because I know Noel nicked the guitar riff off Damaged by Primal scream and the intro off Imagine by the bloke who played bass on Let it be, fuck knows what the rest of the song is a mash of but still love it. Don't think Let it be is derivative of anything so originality wins here

It’s not laughable. I’d rather listen to this Oasis song than this Beatles song. But I’d rather listen to, say, Revolution than Cigarettes and Alcohol. Nothing to do with the bands per se.
