That statement tells me they're going to loan him out for now, with every intention of retaining him as an asset.

They're hoping he goes somewhere and scores enough goals that they can either get a big fee, or even try again to bring him back.
And if they don't, what will it have cost them? £50M in wages paid / due and a replacement cost? No wonder they wanted to reinstate him.
Cunts.

I suspect that no right minded individuals really expected that any statements from the club, either from the CEO or Greenwood , would be anything but denials of the facts surrounding the horrific and vicious attack by Greenwood on his girlfriend, and captured on a recording.

By attempting to manipulate a situation where they felt safe to reintroduce Greenwood back into the team, they have demonstrated their shameless greed and arrogance, assuming that their actions would be deemed acceptable to their supporters and football in general.

That they have so catastrophically misjudged the public opinion of their actions, they have shown their executives in their true light as unprincipled, greedy , and arrogant individuals.

Their statement explaining the " facts previously not revealed " simply makes their culpability even more obvious and despicable.

They are as guilty as hell, and their attempts to deflect their guilt simply demonstrates what a disgusting organisation their club truly is.

The article this evening by Crafton is devastating for United.

TLDR version - as of last Friday he was coming back and Arnold was telling staff as such. Staff threatened to go on strike and their ‘SoMe trackers’ showed negative reactions so they pulled the plug.

Key point, they never spoke to his victim, only her parents, the same parents who immediately after she went public said he was ‘a lovely lad’ and ‘part of the family’.

Crafton also says what we all knew already - they still ideally want to bring him back eventually…

Not exactly the most detailed or thorough tactical or psychological insight into the qualities that should be considered when choosing your captain.

It seems pretty much bang on the money though
Exact,y. Who needs a highly paid psychiatrist when conclusions are as easy as this?

I said previously that the thing that is bad for him is the recording because everyone knows he is guilty.
If mendy had another year left on his contract, I would have been happy for him to return (ignoring the fact that he was shit). He was after all found not guilty by 2 different juries.
With Greenwood, it's impossible to do that because of the recording. If we knew of the accusation but not heard the recording, he would have been fine to carry on when the police dropped charges.

Mourinho learned by watching Bobby Robson. There was another Chelsea manager that followed the same route.

But they both only learned a certain part of the game.
Mourinho blagged his way to the top. Coupled with the gift of the gab. He became successful.

Ten Haag and Arteta have pretty much done the same with Pep.
But to really grasp what Pep is teaching. Needs imagination and constant problem solving. And much more.

They can certainly copy what they learned whilst at his side. But like you say…. Pep’s evolved. And keeps evolving lol
They will continue to copy Pep, but will never invent anything for their own team.b

I imagine "facts previously not revealed" will now be revealed with the agreement of all parties in order to avoid confusion and provide clarity
