The Mrs is a Villa fan and whilst she is quite reasonable I agree that in general there are a lot of Villa fans that place a lot of importance on trophy’s they won before the introduction of crossbars!

If Villa count the period up to 1915 they might have an argument in the big club stakes however it's 2023.
One league title since then and no FA Cup since 1957.
The European Cup they never stop going on about was 41 years ago.
A significant number of their fans are absolute wankers too in my experience.
They're serious contenders for the most deluded award.

I’ve never been one for size etc , or history as some sides fans are very selective on the matter, look at Man Utd’s sub 4000 home crowds in the 30s , air brushed out of history, same with Liverpool when being the reigning champions of Europe, got 12000 for their defence of the crown .
