IF Rangers win next two league games then the pressure on Brendan Brent will be massive. I said at the time , Magic denied it, there is a huge amount of Celtic fans just waiting for the chance to jump on him! He was a very unpopular choice to replace Ange.
On the flip side if Rangers don’t win the next two league games the pressure on Beale grows. I don’t see it myself but he was a popular choice at the time.
My defence for GvB is never going to change. Never lost a domestic cup game, took Rangers to a European final with no striker, took Rangers to Champions league group stages, brought in tens of millions in transfer market, had the worst run of injuries I’ve ever known. He should have been given the chance to prove himself with a fit squad he had assembled. Instead our board crumbled and gave in to ‘the mob’ as we were trailing Celtic and a few heavy defeats in Champions League groups.
