I’m n the same time, he brought n an endless stream of utterly useless bastards at about £3m a pop. Most moved on for either fuck all or a pittance. He took about 8 £3m bonuses. Lawwell does not have the final say on finances and I’ll point you back to that telling rare interview with DD. When it was put to him the support wanted more money invested his reply was along the lines of..stuff them. If they want more money spent let them spend their money. He was only going to invest enough to keep them ahead in Scotland and anything they got through Europe was a bonus. Chasing European glory whilst playing in Scotland was not an option.
