I was 90% sure fix is in. After watching that on MOTD tonight,
I’m now at 100%.

You may be right pal, I only saw it once but it looked like the scorer in the centre was in an offside position when the ball was played forward to the wide player. Yes the ball wasn’t played directly to him, but if it’s still the
same phase of play I thought he would be called offside once he’d scored.
Been a long day, I may be wrong and or misunderstanding the rule, but that’s the bit I was getting at.

Anyhow for the sane the penalty was soft but are given regularly because refs find it impossible to determine what is sufficient contact. The rags have more points than what there performances deserve, they are very average so far this season.

Agreed, but Rashford seemed to create the contact, which should be a yellow card for simulation.

The rags relentless media PR machine marches on unashamedly bias. It doesn’t matter if they are good or not in 2023, stick on the treble match again on sky classic. They have somehow weaponised it to do their bidding. Overspend and bad results forgotten about. Alleged Rapists now the victim.

The actual football team is not very good. It’s ok but not great. That doesn’t matter tho, control and perception and greed. Feed the lemmings crap after crap, day after day. So in that regard it’s a double edged sword.

The only team who challenge this media domination is Liverpool. Once Klopp called out their cheating few season ago they stopped getting pens. So it might actually be good for us if Liverpool get their act together again, well up to a point.

I was late watching motd but had read of the huge injustice and the refs obvious corruption. Then I saw it and well its just the usual really.

Refs are corrupt against us or for(insert team of choice)
Commentators slate us all game but love(insert team of choice)
Every team tries really hard against us but rolls over for(insert team of choice)
The worst fans ever are(insert team of choice)
The most deluded fans(insert team of choice)

The problem with having threads full of biased fuckwittery is when people have genuine concerns no one listens.

All football fans are pretty much the same really. They range from as balanced as can be expected supporting a club to full on biased cult like loons.
