Newcastle Thread - 2023/24

Totally agree with you. That was vital error from Howe.
I was never a fan of Eddie Howe when he was at Bournemouth as I thought they were far too soft down the middle, and always open to the counter. After last season I thought maybe I'd been too harsh, and that there was a good manager in there.

Today proved my first analysis right.

Poor substitutions today. They were ok in patches but nothing special. They will struggle in Europe unless they get an easy group. Can’t see them making top 4 this season. They lack quality.

If I were him, I'd send my assistant...
Cunning plan; Mr Tindall sure has a lot to say for himself. Loved it last season when another manager (bizz, forgot who it was) snubbed his attempted hand-shake in favour of walking past him to get one off the actual manager

Just not good enough to beat the top sides.

Truly do believe, when the time comes to replace Howe for a more established manager they will win trophies and beat the bigger teams in the league.

Anyone watched the Amazon doc yet?
I watched most of the first episode. It's pure sportwashing. Same as ourselves.

They need to spend big on a forward.
