Based on Tolmie's tweets from the last few days I'd say the most likely scenario is Nunes + Felix (loan) or Barco, and Phillips (loan) going the other way. Obviously Felix the least likely of this scenario but we have no better inclination. I think the Eze ship has sailed. If Nunes doesn't work out then I reckon Joao Paulinha from Fulham will come in.

Bringing this window to:
In: Gvardiol, Kovacic, Doku, Felix/Barco, Nunes/Paulinha

Out: Laporte, Gundogan, Cancelo, Mahrez, KP

That is how you refresh a treble winning side. Txiki again proves he's the fucking man.

Pep clearly doesn't trust the youth. Felix should be good for beating low blocks. Still an extremely talented player that would most likely look a lot better playing with other talented players. I don't think he's been bad, just not used properly.

I genuinely don't know if he's bad or not properly used.

It'd be very interesting if it happened but it might be safer not to bother.

His data from the last 365 days is still very good. His comparable player on FBref is Messi (not that this means all too much, just that the talent is obviously still showing).

If anything he is as good as Eze, and we don't have to commit long-term. Giving us the option of getting Wirtz or another lad next year after a season of scouting. It's a loan deal so I'm not sure the risk is all that much.

I think the risk is just taking a place in the squad if he's not good enough. Might be better to keep Palmer or McAtee. But we'll see.

Obviously a very talented player but for me always looks a proper lazy ****.

Still, I reckon he’d be a great option in certain types of games.

With him, Kovacic and Rodri, we could start up a new trade as a rehab centre for players who have suffered from overly defensive managers. They can all sit in a circle and point to the position on the Subbuteo board where the bad man made them track back.
 
Felix on loan for a year would be worth a go? Very talented player who has picked the wrong club initially and definitely completely the wrong manager. Pep may be up for the challenge of getting the Benfica Felix back?

Loan would be a no brainier. Now his character might not be good? Lot of clubs recently with no takers!

Remember we only want good people with humble attitudes. Still don’t know how Cancelo managed to con us but hey you can’t always get it right.

After being offered to us numerous times by his agent,the player is now sat at home thinking 'don't you want me'?
