Have we bought anybody from Wolves since Steve Daley?

I don't recall buying anyone.....i think the last direct connection was selling them Hodge,and before that Kennedy.Obviously Lescott had his formative links too.

He did show it at Wolves,but only occasionally and/or in patches,but that was while playing in a team struggling to stay in the Prem and on a footballing wavelength light years off ours.

You know when we say occasionally. From looking it up his best performances for Wolves were against the top 6 teams last season. Most highlights of his season last year are against Chelsea , Tottenham , United , Liverpool

Maybe he was more motivated in those games. They lost to united but he was brilliant in that game as well which was this season. It looks like when ever it was a game against the top 6 he’d up his level.

First one I remember going to Wolves from City was David Wagstaffe. My dad was gutted.

Bellingham was only going one place, irrespective of other offers. I rate Rice very highly but we walked away when the price became excessive, many believing the myth he chose Arsenal when he didn’t. We simply wouldn’t stump up the dough once at our limit.

I find it hard to agree we’re in ‘disarray’….KDB ruled out at the business end of the window is going to test the best.

We are very smooth operators nowadays, look at the result of the Pep story so far.

Jesus fella; I always had you down as one of the more rational/less irrational (you choose) posters on here. But seriously? Disarray? The only team in the PL with maximum points after 3 games, and another European trophy to fit into the trophy cabinet. If that's your idea of disarray, I don't know what you made of the 1990s!

Rolls in at 20:05, Fodens mum is picking him up from Piccadilly bus station. I believe she’s treating him to a nice pot of stew tonight.
