Delooney starts off his thread with incorrect statement aimed at Newcastle. "agenda. what agenda"
Geordies and dippers were going hammer and tongs on social media after their game, the dippers accusing Newcastle fans of trying to create a rivalry with them, sure I've heard those accusations before from fans of last season's struggling mid table hoofers. The dippers laughing at the geordies leaving the ground after the second goal, but the geordies hitting back, asking why they had so many empty seats and saying the dippers were quiet until the last ten minutes.Met a very bitter Blades fan on Sunday on the train. Hostile about “oil club” City. Said our spending was obscene. No awareness of the truth about our owner. I put him right on investment in the community etc but he was too brainwashed to get it.
It amazes me that a senior manager at a purported prestigious organisation like the BBC is so unprofessional and even more so that his senior exec masters allow this to pass without any intervention. I’ve worked in the past with some right arrogant fuckers in brand strategy, marketing etc who think they’re the dogs and can get away with anything - and every so often a good hard (metaphorical) kick in the bollocks can work wonders. Looks like one is sorely needed here. The boss of the social media team is a United fan and that's a major part of the problem. It is a cultural problem within that team.
Fucking hell, how does he have time to actually write pieces? He's constantly on Twitter arguing and talking shit.Guy has axe to grind every day. News is today we made 400mil from academy sales once it opened.
Look at this gem from Delaney - being called out for it in comments. Lol

But he didn't mind getting promoted and banking millions with help loan players from "oil" club. Thought they were an "oil" club anyway.Met a very bitter Blades fan on Sunday on the train. That’s a bit harsh, considering we’ve never met……….So a thick knownowt then
The odds stretch way beyond 50-50 when you take in the rags' domestic cup home draw accumulator of 11 consecutive home draws in the domestic cups. (Not counting last season's two legged League Cup semi final when they had the advantage of playing the away leg first). The last time they were drawn away was against Leicester in the FA Cup 6th round in March 2021. Maybe someone with a better grasp of statistics than me can work out what the odds of being drawn at home 11 consecutive times are.![]()
Should change their name to from Sport City to Sport United.
You could argue that it's 1 over 2 to the power of 11, so a very small percentage, but that ignores the fact that each draw is completely separate from the previous one.The odds stretch way beyond 50-50 when you take in the rags' domestic cup home draw accumulator of 11 consecutive home draws in the domestic cups. BBC - It's got British in the title which is usually a sign of something not working correctly. It amazes me that a senior manager at a purported prestigious organisation like the BBC is so unprofessional and even more so that his senior exec masters allow this to pass without any intervention. It's a wonder they haven't got Bobby Charlton in the squad.Just the odd 5 mistakes in the England team on the BBC… I probably missed some as well!

It was once said that, "Religion is the opiate of the masses", in today's world social media is the methamphetamine of the masses.Completely agree with this. I’d noticed how the usual wind-up merchant journalists tone-down their digs when they pop up on tv or radio. They clearly understand the audience they are performing to on different platforms. Miguel is the biggest example of this.
I’ve recently come off Twitter and Instagram as the chat was really starting to wind me up. I’d recommend this to everyone!

I stop paying years ago as I encourage everyone else to do so.Religion is a crutch for the feeble minded and a tool for the manipulative.
Now back to the BBC; why the fuck should we pay for there moronic sport output.
Did he mean, now looks like the carefree and trophyless liverpool Raheem SterlingAccording to Max Rushden on the guardian pod, Sterling now looks like the carefree Liverpool Raheem Sterling. I wonder where we went wrong.
