Jadon Sancho

tbf tho its sort of hard for them not to be like that, he has been surrounded since day one with people blowing smoke up his ass, too afraid to tell him he was wrong, too afraid to reign him in for fear of upsetting the golden goose and now he has gone to far where he truly has started to believe his own hype and that he isnt wrong and cant ever be wrong, its a too common tale in footballers.
Like all the Giggs family taking Ryan's side over rhodri

Pep could have kept him at the club. He just wouldn't. ;-)

In respect of that......we did try with the offer of 30k/week but the know it all decided otherwise and the rest is history as they say.

I know he is an incredibly wealthy young man,and know one can say he hasnt been amazingly successful......but he must look at Phil every week and think what might have been.

i dont think his ego would let him, he prob looks at phil and thinks hes lucky and picks faults in him

I see the 'mental health issues' has been trotted out. Is that something he's said or is it just people in here?
its the go to excuse of the modern generation, and those who want to appear to be "modern"i'm not denying people have real mental health issues, but it's the first port of call for people looking to make excuses for bad behaviour .

its like the get out of jail free card for anything these days and its insulting to people who do have genuine issues that need addressing

The clues Sancho isn’t ready to push on to be an elite player we’re there before this. Late for training at both City and Dortmund shows that he doesn’t prepare for what ever type of football he will be facing be it training or match day. Then they had to ship him away to train in Holland after the World Cup.

Hopefully for the rest of his career he can learn from what has gone before and get himself back on track. Will probably be away from Old Trafford though as taking him back now would look like being weak for Ten Hag.

will he tho, if hes too big time to do the basics at 2 of the biggest clubs in the world and man united then hes never gonna do it at a club he thinks is beneath him

You say hopefully, why is that, why are you bothered if he does or doesn't. He has had a golden opportunity for a lifestyle that very few have and he can't be bothered to apply himself. That's down to him no-one else. Spoilt brat comes to mind.

Doesn’t make a difference to me if Sancho applies himself or not. You think for himself he’d learn before it’s too late, he will end up being the next Maguire scapegoat for everything that is going wrong at the swamp.

Basically your saying he's playing against Brighton.

They publicly humiliated Maguire and then brought him on last Sunday so Sancho will be starting, captain, penalty taker and fish finger maker. Well that other bloke doesn't do enough and they need a new scapegoat.

'Tis the yernitid way.

How does it go so wrong for some of these players? Maguire and Sancho knew Solksjaer was not a top coach and improved nobody at his time at the swamp, they both still went though and then find themselves on the wrong side of a new manager. Maguire would have improved if Pep got to work with him, Pep would have never have got Sancho back however you wonder how better he would be if someone like Klopp? It’s a warning sign for any player looking to push on with their career not to go to the swamp.

It seems a simplistic response, but it seems to me that they are stupid enough to swallow the hype they are fed about the history, bullshit , massive club etc , oh and the fact that they are massively over-paid .

There is enough clear evidence out there that the club is a massive fuck-up and hardly likely to enhance the prospects of an individual unless they get incredibly lucky. On the plus side, they will become instant international superstars !

Money is their answer to every problem and they don't know how to change direction.

There'd be none of that if they'd have grown up in proper pyjamas.
