No defending that. Needs to be fined for that. Dropped us right in the shit with that utterly needless reaction. Not only did he make it much tougher than it should have been today, he now misses the next 2 league games (and newcastle which he was never going to play anyway) which could easily see us drop points without him and puts more strain on a threadbare squad. Idiotic to say the least and should be punished.

On reflection, by the time the Arsenal game comes around we’ll have Stones, Kovacic and Nunes available, not ideal but we should have enough

Doubt Stones will be back for Arsenal, he will be projected to even have longer timetable to comeback than others.

A costly mistake. With Taylor you cannot risk it. Shame and now Arsenal game is a really tough one. Kovacic -Bernardo or Kovacic/Nunes will be.
He misses

You never made a mistake at work? Great idea to puss him off. Pep will have a word, that’s enough.

Needed more Dinho tutelage because he doesn't even get a yellow for that lol

Did he though?

Kovacic, Nunes
Doku/Alvarez, Foden, Grealish
Haaland

That's fine for Wolves and Arsenal.

A mistake is passing it backwards without looking to an opposing striker, that's not a mistake. It's pure idiocy and there's simply no excuse for it.

No different to when walker stupidly got himself sent off in the champions league few seasons back, pep was livid and he rightly didn't play for a while afterwards. Rodri will play because he's integral to the side but it shouldn't go unpunished. There's also not a chance rodri gets pissed off with whatever punishment pep may give him, he will know himself how stupid it was.

Don't know many jobs wher you can get away with putting your hands on another person.
It’s a contact sport and these things happen, seen far worse on a Sunday morning and there is a fine but that’s a punitive punishment as it could go to the extreme. Professional football has the match ban as a punishment, that’s enough for a first offence, don’t piss him off.
