Does the PFA take action against its members for getting another member sent off ?

Gibbs-white clearly plays up trying to get a fellow member of the PFA in trouble. It's not a good look for the PFA
I think that you'll find the issue of GW diving and simulating injury has been swept under the PFA Axminster.

Yes philips did fine considering he has hardly played any football! Regarding our other two players you mentioned they have proved themselves! Philips firstly hasn't proved himself in training over the last 12 months+ is why he hasn't been picked hardly!
I am not talking about why Pep doesn’t puck him, I am talking about the unnecessary and unjustified stick he gets, particularly in here but also at the games. I don’t get why some people need to snipe at him, however hard he tries, and however well he does

No,and that lack of retrospective intervention, along with officials allowing it to continue on the pitch,is very much the reason the game is on its arse where theatrics and cheating are concerned.
Ive been banging the drum for a few seasons now......start clamping down on these cunts with immediate sendings off and 3 match bans, and the game will very quickly become far more honest and enjoyable.

Rodri was a dick yesterday, but MGW was a fucking disgrace.

Wrongly compared to Rodri, who would make most if not all number 6s look shit in comparison.

He isn’t Rodri and as you say people almost want him to make mistakes as some kind of validation for their spite towards him.

Reality is Pep will probably change the system in Rodri’s absence as opposed to playing Phillips, but as you say unfortunately for some no matter what he does it’ll never be good enough.

Despite Rodri’s stupidity (at best) yesterday I’ve still seen the majority of City fans giving him more praise than Phillips!

Came away from the game a bit meh yesterday, thought the atmosphere after the sending off was great, Nunes looked decent barring a few times he gave it away in dangerous areas. Dias was brilliant as was Akanji and in fairness the whole back 4/5, Haaland should have bagged the third too.

Rodri however tainted the whole game for me with that stupidity and Ederson nearly followed suit.

I compared it to driving a Lamborghini, getting baited by a Corsa and then crashing just totally stupid, laugh at him he’s going nowhere 2-0 up and although I don’t feel it was a red, Rodri didn’t need to even give that knob Taylor a decision to make. I feel without that we could have gone on to get 5/6.

All that aside a win is a win and I trust Pep to come up with something to balance out the loss of Rodri.

Fcuk me I've seen 1 or maybe 2 people on X slag him off 99% of fans are like you and 33% of them keep going on and on about "unjustified stick"!

well done City, winning through grit and determination for a bit of that 2nd half. Taylor is a mess, frankly.

Rodri this and that, i'm moving on very quickly. red card deserved etc.

We are now presented with Newcastle (27th), Wolves (30th), Leipzig (4th) and Arsenal (8th) all away. There are no doubts that the red card is poorly received due to injuries.

It's going to be really interesting how we set up at Newcastle, Pep rarely rarely weakens the team to the extent of ditching a competition, the loss at Soton last year in the League Cup was still a very decent XI. New season legs might be in our favour a bit, and looks like Grealish will be in line for a start. Phillips i think will start at Newcastle, Kovacic being readied for Wolves.

hahah Pep’s reaction on both goals was like as if he’s a video game remote controller. He literally scored them from side line .

What happened to the new rule that only the captain/1 player could approach the ref? I swear the whole Forest team approached that dickhead (whoops! Apologies) in the black yesterday on more than one occasion? Mind you, we were guilty of that for the sending off too!!
The first part of the law was applied: Check the shirt colour. But they didn't check the badge.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but if anyone thinks Rodri deserved red then they should take a look at the red Casimiro had rescinded against Palace. I'm not saying Rodri didn't deserve punishment but Casimiro's was a far the worse offence and the number of players involved in the melee was ludicrous.

The preverbal game of two halves.
We were brilliant at times in the first half and scored two brilliant goals and were cruising.

The second half couldn't have started any worse.
I can see why Rodri was frustrated, the ref let them routinely kick him up to then and he should've called a foul when Rodri was pushed in the corner seconds before.
But the reaction was stupid, everyone knows you can't raise your hands & even though Gibbs-Shite conned the ref, Rodri deserved to go.

I thought we did well after that though and apart from a great save by Ederson, they never really looked like scoring and Erling had the best chance to change the scoreline.

But another win and the Blues go marching, on, on, on!!!

You came away from the game feeling meh? How? It was a great win with 10 men.

Sometimes a 2-0 win with 10 men is better than thrashing another team

It has, but not sure where the notion that Casemiro didn’t serve a 4 game ban has come from.
