The £30000 over 5 years for specialist teachers? Turns out to be an extra 15k on an existing scheme. And there's still a 79% shortage of specialist physics teachers, so unlikely to make much difference.

And it's not recruitment that's the problem but retention (retaining teachers is better than constantly having to recruit and train new ones).

If I wanted to be charitable I would say that he meant the completion of the original plan for a Wythenshawe loop where the tram to the airport continues on to loop round through Newall Green and reconnecting near Wythenshawe Hospital.
But he would have no idea about that at all and doubtless thinks that its a new airport link.

He has said he can’t commit to reversing it because it depends on how much of the route is decommissioned and whether land acquired for the project gets repurposed over the next 12 months. If that happens the already high costs would soar further so how could he possibly make the commitment now. Even you should be able to work that out. Or maybe not.
