Gary Neville whinges endlessly about "The Glazers this" and "the Glazers that" but they've owned united for 18 years and in nearly half that time, up to 2013, they were pretty successful. Alright, people moaned about the interest and dividends going out but they were undoubtedly successful. So was that down to the Glazers?

And they've still won things in the last ten years, although nowhere near as much, and never the PL or CL.

There are definitely things you CAN lay at the Glazers' door. The appointment of Woodward and Arnold, without appropriate footballing appointments at senior level. They've chased commercial visibility above football visibility (e.g. Ronaldo). But Johnny Evans and Dalot failing to mark Haaland for the second goal, and continuing to pick underperforming players, or play them out of position, and those players seemingly showing a lack of motivation? That's on the football side.

Anyway it’ll be fine now because they’re getting Dave Brailsford in. A cycling coach.

There was a piece in the Times yesterday saying that Tent Peg wanted Kane as well as Hoijland to help bed the young striker in. Absolutely dillusional if true
 
They are in terminal decline. They are always quick to talk about their history but all that has been lost in the pursuance of high transfer value players (some I've never heard of) who join up and talk about being at the biggest and most famous club in the world but that isn't anywhere near enough creating a successive and successful venture. Without giving them an obvious and trueful sense of direction, what they need to do is to have a clear gutting of their playing staff and management and to go back to the 1950s and go big on a youth policy, something they became famous for, but that will take time and whether their support base will allow that is an entirely different matter. A 10 year process, minimum, I would guess.

One point that keeps coming up for the penalty. Rags it's not a penalty because Rodri isnt getting to the ball. I didnt know the player had to be getting the ball for a penalty. I thought a foul regardless of were the ball is still a foul, hence off the ball

Just remind the red mard arses of the Vonk/Cuntona penalty at their gaff. The ball was sailing 10 ft above their heads and the ref still gave them twats the pen.
Payback is a kicker you red muppets!!

I'd say for 90% of fans, United vs Liverpool is the derby they care about. Nobody cares about City, United would rather see City lifting empty trophies than Liverpool, and vice versa.

I think it was Frontzeck actually but yeah, that was probably the worst penalty I’ve ever seen given. Not a single person even appealed for it, and Keane had a strop when the whistle blew as he assumed a free kick had been given to us. Absolutely scandalous that was

As crazy as it sounds relegation would see them with a chance to reset and start afresh,but unfortunately that won’t be allowed by the league,anyhow I want them to suffer even more I want them down at the bottom fighting relegation fuck them they took pleasure in mocking us,even when we weren’t in the same league,yet they claim the red scousers are their rivals fuck them let the suffering of that club continue well past after I’ve popped my clogs..
 
The 'big club' thing is a comfort blanket.

But think back to when we were getting stuffed by Lincoln City, York and Stockport County. We were undoubtedly the 'bigger' club, but was that any comfort on the train home?

Is it better to support a 'small' club that wins trophies or a 'big' club that wins SFA?
