Was in 242 for this one, but SS were class throughout the game. Was in 115 for Brighton and 100% going back there in the future.

Dare I say it but out of everywhere I've sat in the ground, SS have the best value seats out there, both view and atmosphere.
The view is shit from there
Theres a reason the side stands cost more and so do the premium blocks nearer the halfway line
The trade off is the lack of noise but the view of the game is infinitely better

For a category C game in the Manchester rain I thought it was pretty decent.
However, it was a Saturday 3pm kick off and the early leavers were out in force, we've just won 6 - 1 and the players were clapped off by a ground about a 3rd full, shocking.
If you had to rely on that fucking useless Metrolink then you might leave early, I went with 3 minutes of extra time left.

The Metrolink queue for the Manchester tram was bloody horrendous.

Exactly why u have to leave early , as I bring my 11 year old to the game and use the metro, to leave on time quite frankly would've that journey unsafe.

Reasonably good today given the humdrum nature of the occasion particularly in the 2nd half.

The usual gaggle of needy clowns once again can’t wait to have a pop at our own fans, the first moron posting at 5.21 so roughly 15 mins after the players had left the pitch. This particular idiot suggested that our fans would have wildly celebrated a win like this 30 years ago ….. he can’t have been coming 30 years ago then. Hasn’t got a clue.

20,000 empty seats- it's only 6-1

They're not Needy clowns, they're fans who want the atmosphere to be as good as possible and a key component of this is a large crowd to cheer the lads off.

I'm sorry if you're offended by this, but it is embarrassing the numbers that leave early.

And I'm not having a pop at anyone individually, the transport is a disgrace I understand why people do it. But it's embarrassing for those left in the ground.

It's up to the club to sort this out, not individuals

This word “embarrassing” keeps popping up. People need to get a grip.

How can a grown man be embarrassed by what losers living in their parents’ basement in Cornwall write on Twitter about our fans.

Presumably you were also “embarrassed” when, during a brief lull in the south stand’s excellent non stop 2nd half singalong, the away fans started singing “football in a library”

atmospheres has been decent enough imo at our ground this season considering Newcastle are the only “big” side we faced at home so far yes atmosphere can be better and early leavers was bad today but their is a lot more positives in our atmosphere this season than compared to a couple of years ago

Sort the horrendous logistics out getting to and from the stadium and people will stay.
I walked into town and was on a boozer within 25 mins. Fans that drive must surely expect 40k leaving will lead to traffic.

Each to their own and all but if I’m going to the football and I’m driving I expect traffic on the way home so I tell the missus it’s going to take longer?! I don’t get leaving early for any kickoff let alone a 3pm kickoff.

Not directed at you blue, your reply was just the one I chose to reply to!

Decent in 323 today. A lot of people singing in my section. I left about 10 minutes after the final whistle. The stadium was almost entirely empty by then, so I beat the traffic nicely ;). Had no problem getting back to the centre.
