Cancelling Sky TV

Does anybody know of a decent IPTV sub as the one I have keeps going down and I would be grateful for the details of a reliable one.

Just noticed that my package went from £71 to £96. No warning given. Apparently if you're not a broadband customer as well it is down to the customer to ensure they know when the contract is ending and try to do something about the impending and inevitable price rise.

After 45 minutes on the phone, I have managed to renew at £73 for a new contract. Personally I would be tempted to bin it as we also have IPTV, but my Mrs likes the ability to just press series record, and I do like the ability to live pause a match or have it recording in order to catch up with it later. I suppose just over £2 per day ain't too bad though. Oh' I also got them to refund the one month increase from £71 to £96.

My missus was the same . What am I going to do if I want to record my soaps?told her that they are all on itv x or iplayer and she can watch them whenever she wants. Except when City are on obviously:-)

He wears the trousers…….she tells him which ones….
No she wears the trousers mate . I just showed he how to use the fire stick and eventually after a lot of cussing and calling me a **** she got the hang of it and now the remote is firmly in her hands, but I have another one that is plugged in upstairs. £120 per year for two is good value

You have two wives with one plugged in !! ??? Wish my one missus would only fucking cost £120 per year. ;)

I only really watch sport (and The Chase) so I use the Sky Sports package with NowTV. Having said that, it’s gone up from £25 to £30 and is now going up again to £35 in early 2024. I think I’ll cancel in early May and try to renegotiate when the season starts again.

My wife is only allowed to touch the remote when she's watching Corrie.
I hand it over just before it starts and she returns it to the rightful operator as soon as it ends.

Just cancel online as the deal you are on comes to an end - they will take you through lots of windows saying "Are you Sure?" "Do you know what you are missing?" eventually they will offer you £19 per month until May - I took that one. It might be you can go further - sure someone will tell us - or even cancel for a week (during international break) and see what they will then offer as a returning customer - may be well timed for a Black Friday deal.

As it’s NowTV, there’s no contract and you can cancel anytime. I’m watching it now!

Why don't you just turn it on for her and retain 100% possession.

Just get a decent iptv.
Mine is 100 a year, and I've got everything.
I can't record, but I can live with that.
I'm pretty sure you can pay extra and get that function, but not 100% sure.(I think it was another 50 a year)
He also does multi room.
The service has been great, it rarely buffers, let alone crashes, but I do have decent broadband, which I'm lead to believe is important
