A lot can happen in the next 27 months when an election is mandatory, think you’re jumping the gun, to coin a phrase “if Starmer and Reyner are the answer it’s a stupid question in the first place”.

I’m not affiliated with any party btw, not much interest these days as there’s a fag paper between the Tory left and Labour right, no identity anymore.

If you believe that the country is lost.

Do you honestly think a Labour Govt will exist solely to get cash off mates whilst funnelling shed loads of state cash to their mates? And thats just a single example of the differences that would come about

January 25 is when the next election cut off date is, so 14 and a bit months.

There is no Tory left anymore, even a moderate tory is way to the right of any Labour candiddate. While Starmer may not be a great answer it's a way better one than any alternative. ( and I won't even be voting fo him)

Just listen to the vile utterances of braverman and Anderson for evidence of that.

It does look like she is going to making a bid for the leadership of the Tory party after the next election, she is dog whistling the UKIP faction which is most of the party nowadays, it's going to be fun we though Corbyn was bad for the Labour party if she leads the Tories it will destroy them they will be completely unelectable
