Journalists (I use the term very loosely) working for high profile newspapers who seem to think City have yet again filed a set of fraudulent accounts…. None of them stop to question why independent auditors or the HMRC don’t seem to have any issue with our accounts…. Utter fuckwits the lot of them, stealing a living spouting bias and bitterness.

Weird situation but I’m not sure HMRC would have either the resource or motivation, to see someone over declaring revenue.

Although payments of the books they could be interested in.

But your spot on auditors, will know their work will be remarked consistently and any errors will be huge news.

So I imagine they are comfortable.

They just can’t comprehend it. We are beating them in practically every definition they invented of what a big club is. The only thing left is that their stadium has more seats but they’re all wet.
Their floodlights are also higher. Unfortunately, they are facing the wrong way and light up the pitch. At least more than their billion quids worth of 'talent' does.

I'm loving getting to recycle all their old jokes. Could do with Oxo changing the colour of the beef ones...

Using VR goggles & surround sound from a specific seat in the ground for a supposed realistic virtual experience.

I think it'll go much the same as curved, 3D TVs...
VR of sport events doesn't seem to have taken off, which is a shame as it's on a different level to the marginal effect of a 3D tv.

There's a VR video of the 2-1 game against Liverpool on YouTube. It looks absolutely amazing on a headset - you're so close to the action, and the speed and skill of the players really stands out. It's only short, but they've got Stones' goal line clearance, and City's goals, and Sergio's in particular looks thrilling.

Just one of numerous bitter and clueless comments in the Daily United article about City's 2022/23 revenues.

Beautiful! You can feel his pain across the pond.

Strange that DM had multiple articles claiming Haaland was on 865,000 per week. Here it says less than half of that. Either DM is populated by fools or City are cooking the books. As for their 341m commercial revenue, they can't even state that in public with a straight face. They barely fill their own stadium with their soulless sportswashing cogs running around, let alone getting neutrals to pay attention.
His pain sustains me.

The cup lift and bus parade ones are good too.

Anyone who receives the ‘City must be cooking the books’ comment, ask them why would a club cook the books and declare a profit that taxes are due on ? When you cook the books, you don’t create a tax liability … that’s “cooking the books 101 for tax ‘avoidance’ “ [emoji16]

Ask Donald Trump! :-)

Inflate the value of assets to banks to acquire loans. Deflate the value of assets to the IRS to avoid paying the tax due.

City on the other hand have declared the rise in revenue, asset values & profits, & paid the higher amount of tax due.

It doesn't get much more honest & straightforward than that. It's the last thing business crooks would do.
