I've tried to watch the wire twice and never got past the first episode, just can't get my head around the lingo, a mate of mine who watches loads of stuff as I do says it's as gooda TV as you get hence trying it twice
Ashton lad done well.
I don't think it's a coincidence that it's gotten less interesting as they get closer to modern day.
People remember the 90's, you can't take the same dramatic liberties with the characters or the events.

The Americans is terrific. And it keeps getting better, so enjoy.
You'll love Series 2 then, it ramps up to a great finale. Brilliantly shot for me, just the right amount of moodiness about it.

Binged the whole first series of The Lazarus Project last night. Love time leap/travel stuff. Really enjoyed it. Good acting, decent script and storyline IMO.

Have you seen Kingdom on Netflix? Korean period drama, with added martial arts, & zombies?Not animated and movies but these were some historical asian things I liked.... (probably loads more great ones I can't think of)

Anyone that likes the boyz, only watched one episode of it but Gen V is well worth a watch. Even more mad than the boyz is.
Bass Reeves is great too. Was trying to wait until the end and then binge watch it but finding it too hard not to watch a new episode when it comes out.
Other one is the new Frasier from around episode four onwards has been great and a lot lot better than I was expecting.
