Yep. Campbell Ogilvie was one of those personally responsible for the tournament

Of course English football are responsible for one of the major early changes to the rules. Due to them failing to qualify through competition for the group stages UEFA , under huge pressure from TV, started inviting clubs from the countries with the largest TV audiences.

In the first Champions League Rangers were knocked out undefeated. I’d say the Hately sending off against Club Brugge finished us. Marseille were terrified of him and that meant he missed the away tie in France that was essentially the group decider. Finished 1-1

Celtic / AC Milan double. Never been so gutted in winning £40 : )))))

Nope. It was just stating an actual fact

Celtic won the European Cup. This is the Champions League. Same trophy different tournament.

I’ve been imagining that for the past 20 years mate, and I’m still having to imagine it! ;-)

I didn’t leave, but I had nothing really to add to the daily battle between yourself and No.8 about referee’s and penalties. You both had that covered quite well!
