You mean they don’t have cheese filled crusts in Italy?Don’t you be dissing Pizza Hut.
You know the rules KS...;) BTW was she in a low cut blouse?Best demo of Italian cooking was by Nigella.
”Today, I am making antipasti. Nip down to your local Italian deli, make your selection and bring it home.”
The Beeb actually showed her jumping in a taxi and doing just that.
Always. You know the rules KS...;) BTW was she in a low cut blouse?
Nor pineapple on a pizza. You mean they don’t have cheese filled crusts in Italy?
Savages!Nor pineapple on a pizza.
Next you’ll be telling me they don’t put cream in carbonara!Nor pineapple on a pizza.
Ersatz my rear end. Proud son of immigrant parents and speak fluently in both Italian and in dialect.Aha, ersatz Italian.
Some would even say an "unprovable" burden...It is not a criminal case so the principle of innocent until proved guilty does not strictly apply. However, in this case the PL are effectively alleging that City’s accounts were faked which is criminal and some would say that the PL has a very high burden of proof.
What’s their linguistic skills got to do with the standard of their food?Ersatz my rear end. Proud son of immigrant parents and speak fluently in both Italian and in dialect.
Hopefully. Some would even say an "unprovable" burden...
What’s their linguine skills got to do with the standard of their food?
American Italian has some merits but the clue is in the word American. Have you tried an American curry?Ersatz my rear end. Proud son of immigrant parents and speak fluently in both Italian and in dialect.
Most is but some of the restaurants in the northeast corridor of the US serve outstanding Italian food. I've eaten in Rome, Florence, Naples, and Calabria and too many times to count in NY, NJ, and Philadelphia. There are some discernable differences but the quality available in those locations is exceptional. Toronto, Canada is also very good. I grew up on Italian cooking and you'd have to travel far and wide to find a bigger foodie than my Roman born father. He'll always give the nod to Italy with the exception of my mother who was known to be an outstanding cook in a neighborhood of outstanding cooks, lol...I think most Italian food outside Italy is pretty ersatz tbf!
I don't know about all that but anything good can only be better with a fresh loaf of Italian bread, simple as...American Italian has some merits but the clue is in the word American. Have you tried an American curry?
Probably cultural appropriation according to the wokes.
Your sandwich is fine, but not Italian. Meat balls in a sandwich…hmmm.
I’ve eaten in Italians in NY, Philly, as well as Boston, Chicago, San Fran, LA, Austin, Denver and Atlanta and they were all good, but none of them mind blowing - and not a patch on restaurants I‘ve been to in Milan, Bologna, Genoa, Florence and Naples. Most is but some of the restaurants in the northeast corridor of the US serve outstanding Italian food. Not even close.
I won't vouch for the Midwest, the South or the West Coast but IMO you're being a little harsh on NY. You didn't mention NJ which in my opinion has the best among the US.I’ve eaten in Italians in NY, Philly, as well as Boston, Chicago, San Fran, LA, Austin, Denver and Atlanta and they were all good, but none of them mind blowing - and not a patch on restaurants I‘ve been to in Milan, Bologna, Genoa, Florence and Naples.
