TV Series

You fuckers! Recently, all I've heard is 'Kin'!

'Kin!, 'Kin'!, 'Kin'!!

So, stupid me started watching it... and it's bloody good!

I'm into ep4 and it's probably the best show of it's type I can think of! It's grounded and actually explores the family dynamics more than US shows of this type. It's also very well filmed.

I don't know if it's cos it's closer to home, but it's relatable to me in so many ways.

Very good so far, so well done on you guys getting into my brain on it!

After you`ve finished Kin, get on to Love/Hate which in my opinion is even better, you`ll thank me. Same theme, another RTE production set in Dublin. There`s 5 series available and the storyline gets better and better with each episode.

I must admit I'm always nervous I won't catch the whole conversation when it comes to our neighbouring countries, but I always do!

I'll be putting that on my list! Thanks!

Prisoner cell block H is always worth a revist. The entire series all 692 episodes on are YouTube.

The Bill is also a great watch , which can also be found on YouTube. what is amazing about The Bill and even cell block H is how attitudes have changed over the years.

(the bill)Tn one episode or a time, it shows young girls under 16 acting as prostitutes. They are totally ballsed and never the victim.

Cell block H tackles insect or more like child abuse and its direct consequence.

Prisoner Cell Block H is being shown on ThatsTV2 (65 on my Freeview)
They're about three episodes in.
I know it gets derision for various reasons but it tackled the kind of issues UK television rarely touched back then (child pornography, serious police and political corruption etc)
It's incredibly addictive once you watch it properly.

I didn't think Love/Hate was better than Kin. Better acting in Kin imo and better direction.
Some of the "acting" in Love/hate was Coronation st standard, you know, like that Fizz and dopey Kevin. :)

Yeah I got addicted to that in the 80's.......Vinegar tits etc. :)

Fool me once with Michelle Keegan is ok, she is one fine looking woman best looker on the box at the moment unless you know different

Totally agree with everything you said city2. She's that fit I forget what a good actress she is Fool me once is well worth a watch.

Don’t watch Love/Hate. Nobody from Dublin acts like that show. It’s terribly acted and written to match. Kin is far more realistic.

Fool me once is for people who thought Line of Duty was good.

Absolutely stupid television. Poorest written and acted show since…Line of Duty.
At last, someone else who thought this was overrated!

Don’t get me ring it was alright, but I don’t understand the massive hype …unless of course you just want to look at Michelle Keegan for a few hours, which is perfectly understandable

watching the old series Manhunt on Talking Pictures TV. Cyd Hayman was just searched by the Gestapo. She was beautiful back in the mid 70's
