Absolute nothing game that Norwich would’ve been far more up for.Norwich. And we lost.
Remember Hopkin? I'm still having fucking nightmares about him! Horrible gob shite. I was only a kid when he played(and I use that term lightly) for us, but I do remember him slaggin us off when he left and spouting some bollocks about Brum being a bigger club than us. Absolute twat of a man. Christian Negoui was Barry White agreed, but at least he scored in a 2-1 win at home to Rotherham(albeit with his hand) We could go on and on and on about all these shite players we've had so I'll leave it there. Haha! P.S Whilst Trevor Christie wasn't the Fred West(he did have the best fod)I've seen plenty, plenty worse.I see your creaney and i raise you christian negoui
Weve had some fuckin dross. Go before 86 (the year stoned rose referred to) and it gets worse. Tony cunningham. Doninic sullivan, trevor christie, and that little **** we signed from brum, robert hopkins.
But yeah, even post 86 and up to quite recent times there has been way worse than garcia. And he was shite
I went to Brighton in 83 when we had to win to avoid relegation, Kevin Reeves scored the winner late on and as we all know we were related the week later against Luton. I watched the 'highlights ' last week on you tube , we were dreadful, I forgotten how truly awful we were. We deserved to go down although at the time I didn't really believe that.Ha, it's all still too real in my mind for me to forget that 96-98 period, watching from the Kippax as we capitulated to Bury, or crumble at Edgeley Park. Dark days indeed.
Think it david whites book , he absolutely slagged hopkins. Said he was a thoroughly miserable msn who was disliked by the while squadRemember Hopkin? I'm still having fucking nightmares about him! Nah, he was dust before the final, everybody was singing the 'You can stick your Pellegrini up your arse' song outside the ground, and why I think he started Hart instead of Pants.Absolute nothing game that Norwich would’ve been far more up for.
I always understood Mancini was set to be sacked at the end of the season but they brought it forwards after the Wigan abomination.
I remember seeing some Arsenal fans on the way back from Reading and thanking them for relegating Wigan that night.
Dont recall Nigel Clough even having one decent game for us.Garcia gets called out… Steve McManaman and his one good game.
He only lasted a few months, played 7 or 8 games and was gone. Good riddance!Think it david whites book , he absolutely slagged hopkins. Said he was a thoroughly miserable msn who was disliked by the while squad
Nowhere close I'm afraid mate.....Javi Garcia was literally the worst player I have ever seen in a city shirt and I’ve been going since 86.
I remember a night game, I think Barnsley in 96/97 possibly. Think it was first or second home game of the season. I was sat in corner of North stand where it met the Main. A ball was played to him towards the corner flag where I was sat, it was easily retrievable but he was blowing out of arse and just give up without a fight. I've never forgiven him for that. He was a fucking disgrace!Nowhere close I'm afraid mate.....
Gerry Creaney was as bad as i have ever seen and i have been going since 1968 so a proper FOC !
When he, Hopkins, went to West Brom after City. I remember him slagging off all the young players that had played in the Youth Cup winning side, saying that they were nothing special. Anyway City played West Brom quite soon after his move and when the game kicked off Paul Stewart went straight over to him and dumped him straight on his arse suggesting that he wasn't the hard man that he portrayed himself to be. He was a bit of a dick was Hopkins I always felt that he thought he was too good for City at the time even though he wasn't a very good player at all, in fact he is in the top 5 worst signings ever. In my humble opinion.Think it david whites book , he absolutely slagged hopkins. Said he was a thoroughly miserable msn who was disliked by the while squad
Spot on and to think we let Paul Walsh go the other way in a deal where we gave Portsmouth money as well. Possibly one of the worse pieces of business ever.Nowhere close I'm afraid mate.....

He wasn't in the right shape to be a professional footballer. He was too overweight.I remember a night game, I think Barnsley in 96/97 possibly. Think it was first or second home game of the season. A ball was played to him towards the corner flag where I was sat, it was easily retrievable but he was blowing out of arse and just give up without a fight. I've never forgiven him for that. Met him in town just after he signed.Great hair though. Handsome bastard
No mate nobody was worse than Garcia imo. Genuinely.Have a think of the utter shite that played for us from 86 til 2008. I reckon with a spare 10 mins i could come up with a full 11 plus subs who were worse. Maybe even another 11.
Ged brannan (for example) says hi.
