I normally park at Wembley, then get the tube from Wembley to Green Park, then tube again to Seven Sisters, if I get a ticket that’s what I’ll be doing.
Be touch and go if they get there on a Friday!Glad that the club are putting on coaches, 2pm will be too early for a lot but it's certainly saved me from paying £100 for a hotel in London
They might get a shock then :)They don't want 9000 City fans in the City that weekend, done deliberately by the fa
That sounds ok mate, I don't mind an hour on the train if it makes the trip less stressful.Depends how far out you mind being. Usually park watford/wembley get tube in myself but it’s about another hour on train
Where is this info pal?Glad that the club are putting on coaches, 2pm will be too early for a lot but it's certainly saved me from paying £100 for a hotel in London
anywhere north of white hart lane on the overground. dead easyStill going to this with my lad despite it being Friday night, probably tell school he's at the dentist to get him out of school early lol. As I'll have to drive, can anyone recommend best place to park and I'll get the train to the ground. Cheers.
that's my plananywhere north of white hart lane on the overground. dead easy
Can you pay for the half a days lost wages, train travel and unavoidable hotel for me?There are loads of mid week aways with 8-00 ko times in London and far away places which means time off work and these games always sell out with the regular 3k away fans
Fri at 8-00 is not ideal but can be done with half day off work and stop over if needed
Better than a Monday prem away with a week at work to follow and more time off work
Friday gives lots of people the chance to see a decent game who normally miss out
Sure we will sell out and have a great night
Don’t miss the first goals and win at spuds new stadium
That's exactly what I thought.No OAP prices?
It’s madness what it will cost people for an away game.It all just feels really unnecessary. For me it's gone from an £80 return train to having to spend hundreds of pounds on a hotel in London on a Friday night and having to take a day off work.
All for nothing, no one benefits from this
I have had a pay rise because I have worked hard for it not just because I wanted one. That's the attitude, have you ever got a pay rise in your job or are you just grateful to have a job (tugs your forelock - sir)
2pm seems a bit late. I get it's 6 hours but coaches are notoriously slow. Friday travel is always bad and going to hit Birmingham in rush hour and met by circa 6000 villa heading to chelsea then hitting the usual gridlock as you enter London.
Won't be going via coach personally but think I'd be tempted to book megabus or national express and leave earlier if I was.
These days it’s only the teams coach that comes back with no windows.I'm going with a mate on a coach. £30. The 1st time on a coach since traveling on Finglands coaches on my away days in the 70's & 80s and often coming back in the middle of winter with no windows. Going to be rather nostalgic. Can't wait. Lets have it
