Not keen on the fixture KO date / time but the management team will be happy as it spaces out the games the following week.
KDB will be a super sub for 3 or 4 games yet I think.

Spurs, a fucking fraud of a club.
How can a football club achieve so little, yet claim to be so big?!!
They've done us over recently purely on luck and individual moments.
They need teaching a lesson.
Indeed they are and they haven't won the league since 1961!

Just because they've won a few games early doors with some nice football too many are fawning over them because they appointed a fat aussie chancer called Flance Costalogpoo who won a few pots at Celtic.

What annoys me is some numpty dubbed his style of play 'Ange ball', lol. I think it should be minge ball because Spurs are a bunch of soft southern fannies.

I'm confident we'll knock them out of the cup and end their chance of any silverware. 1 -3 City.

I’ve liked this post, and fully agree, and continue to dislike spuds as much as ever, but I will say that I like their manager so much more than the likes of Klopp or Arteta.
I’m not saying he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread (it’s pundits and fans saying that, not him as far as I’m aware) but as a person he seems like a decent guy.

I agree, i quite like him too but i fuckin' hate spurs because they broke my heart in 81.

Agree re Ange vs Klopp and Lego Head.

Just want to score and stuff them at their place, it's our cup and should remain that way ( nb not that you'd know we are current holders if you go by the Red loving media...)

We really should win. Is Son likely back from asian cup? if hes out we have a chance of breaking this weird hoodoo.

can we score a goal there? That would be a start.

Spurs have a much healthier squad now, possibly even moreso when we play. They'll cause us a shit tonne of problems if Pep persists with the kamikaze 1v1 defending weve been seeing this season. we will concede more than a few to them so we will have to outscore them at a ground we've never scored in to progress.

I expect spurs to go as strong as possible, they're desperate for silverwarenand this is their best chance by far.

Few of our more peripheral figures of late to get minutes but thats still only a handful of changes for us as i dont expect phillips or gomes to be playing any meaningful minutes and the squad is tiny.

Nunes, Lewis, Grealish and Bobb along with doku coming back from injury who might need the minutes will all be looking for a start here, problem is they all operate in similar areas and can't all start. Back 4 will more or less pick itself as we have 6 defenders in the squad.

Kdb will be on the bench, half hour appearance at most I reckon. We have Burnley the following midweek which i suspect we will prioritise having him available for so will depend on how ready he would be for that if he also featured against spurs. the one benefit of playing Friday is there's a decent rest before the Burnley Wednesday game.

Maybe a sub appearance from haaland if he's ready.

It's going to either be a very high scoring win or we crash out with a heavy defeat.

Does anyone know how serious Eddy's Injury is, Pep said only a knock but wonder if this is still plaguing him after warm weather training, whether Carson will play the cup tie

One of my lads was looking at something on his phone on the way back from the match and said Eddie had said “it’s ok”, assume he meant the injury. I would expect Ortega will play at spurs as the cup keeper (but understand your concern about both main keepers picking up injuries)
