It was obvious Alexander Isak was offside as soon as the ball was played over the top, yet play continued and Ederson was injured when he, Sean Longstaff and Kyle Walker collided after the Swede crossed into the middle.
When the decision is as clear as that, surely player safety and common sense must come first and play should be stopped. For players to potentially suffer a serious problem when there is no need is terrible for the game. If the decision is tight and there is doubt then I agree with the process, but this was not one of those occasions.
PGMOL does not have to seek agreement to make this change either, it can simply do so and inform managers and clubs of the change.

All THREE players could've been injured in that head-on coming together.

If this ludicrous, dangerous and easily fixable rule isn't amended IMMEDIATELY,it'll happen again and Webb etc will have 'blood' on their hands !!
 
when are people gonna get it, webb DOES NOT care unless it affects one of the preferred few, how many contentious and wrong var calls have there been this season, which call was the audio released to the public for? thats right the one involving the dippers, when hooper made his blooper against us despite it being on video him waving play on and then changing his mind was anything done, of course it wasnt because we arent one of the preferred few, if that incident happens and allison gets injured or maguire gets injured then that rule would be changed by the next game, its just the way it is.

Pep is a serial winner wherever he goes and plays far superior football to that rag fossil.
