PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They took out 3 loans which in evidence they claimed that all 3 were to fund the new stadium however the evidence said 2 of the loans were used for day to day funding and transfer In evidence to the commission the owner dropped them right in it by saying they felt they need MF enforcements
They seem to be pushing the whole "we've been punished for building a new stadium" angle through friendly journos.

Not a great look for them.

All i read about is what about City?
My pals just made a good comment….
The Rags failed FFP in July 2023 and were fined £257,000 - why weren’t they docked points like Everton?
I've just read uo on the FFP failure. It was UEFA and they missed the loss allowance by something like £47million pounds. Ans were fined 300,000 euros. Didn't we get fined 30,000,000 euros by UEFA? 100times more. ?? I can't recall precisely.

I don’t want to start a new thread but FOCs like me who live about 30mins from the Etihad should maybe have an early warning system to get down to the stadium and give Rodent a reception committee.

if we can get a hand full of us down there we can disrupt their broadcast and give Rodent a few pointers, obviously to late today but I guess the **** would have been on Alan Turing Way or on the road at the South Stand. The players and club officials will all be soaking up the sun in Abu Dhabi and won’t give two fucks what some knob from the BBC is up to, but it pisses me off and I think we need to do something.

So, after today's announcements, who's more confident or less confident for our outcome?? I haven't the foggiest anymore!
I'm just keeping quiet and trusting the club until the verdict.

£47m was the exact figure we got banged for in 2014 by UEFA after they changed the rules to catch us out. We got a €25m fine and a squad reduction and special measures until 2017. The dippers breached by the same amount and got fuck all. If the rags have breached by £47m and only got a slap then that’s corruption writ large.

Incidentally, this is why I don't buy the argument that the PL are doing all this to stave of the IR. It makes no sense. The IR wants to protect clubs from going under, not to force them unneccesarily into existential crisis, which is what the PL are doing.
Their frightened to death incase the IR comes sniffing round their accounts, hence their trying to show some teeth.
It appears their in danger of killing the golden goose to save their own skins.

I'm only 10 minutes away !! Pitch forks at the ready :)

When you look back at the so called Big Five who led the break away from the football league, only Everton have been kicked out of the nasty little cartel, probably cos they can’t justify their position based on their lack of success and modest income. The other four **** clubs are still pulling all the strings over three decades on.

We didn’t breach by 47m, it ended up being a lot more than that (still through uefa being very dodgy with the rules though)
