PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The **** is out of order with this statement.
He should accept the decision of CAS, as an independent arbitrator.
Why ? He's obviously had to accept it but it doesn't mean that he has to agree with it. They were prosecuting us and lost on appeal. He/ they are bound to be smarting from it.
After all, it can't be easy having you're lying, twisted, arses, exposed in public.

Just so there is no doubt what this interview was about in relation to us (it covers a lot of other things and we feature strongly in the multi club ownership bit) this is the actual headline:

We know we were right’: Uefa chief Aleksander Ceferin sure of Man City’s FFP guilt

I've just read the Telegraph article and it's a disgrace. The **** is saying that UEFA was right but unfortunately CAS didn't agree.

Sample quote:

We know we were right. We wouldn’t decide if we didn’t think we were right.”
He's not really in a position to say given he played no part in the decision-making process at UEFA.

If in some parallel universe, the UEFA chamber had cleared us of any wrongdoing he'd probably say the same thing.

Because that's the agreed process for appeal.
Just because they lost, he can't then blame the outcome of their defined process.

Pretty shocking what he's saying in my opinion...he is basically saying he thinks we got away with it because our lawyers were better on the day, not because we were innocent... scandalous accusation when you think about it

I’m taking about the allegation that we disguised owner funding as sponsorships
He could have just ‘loaned’ us the cash like Abramovic, loaded us with debt, and saved himself all the bother

Ah. No he couldn’t have done that, as it wouldn’t have gone on the P&L.

Thats what has always bugged me a bit about the accusation. If he did pay it on behalf of the sponsors, then the benefit is really for them and not us.

Of course they can. One side always comes out feeling they've been wronged. That's the way the world turns.
Fuck knows why anyone gives a fuck about his opinion. The verdict was in our favour and there's fuck all he can say that'll change it.

That's the only thing the Telegraph was after now we will have a couple of days of that from social media and YouTubers with that headline and the narrative carries on!

Those comments should cost Cerferin his job ,absolutely no debate and our club now have to take those comments seriously and demand a retraction and apology and Cerferin immediately suspended.
The CAS decision was final and binding and the end of the matter for Cerferin to drag the original incorrect UEFA decision back into the media has now to be libellous.
Come on Khaldoon get those lawyers busy.

Watching the Branson documentary and in part 3 it covers the dirty tricks campaign by British Airways and the eventual victory in the high court BA were hacking the Virgin database ( sounds familiar) and stealing customers, they had a campaign of lies about Virgin Atlantic, Branson and other executives. Going through waste bins and anything they possibly could to disparage reputations, they even claimed that one of their aircraft would crash. Shows how far a company would and a company would a previous unblemished reputation regarded as the Uk air land and flag carrier

But he is a supposed lawyer who doesn't respect the courts decision and is CEO of a governing organisation. Not the man in the street who claims he was fitted up.
Here are the quotes.

He does accept CAS decision, but as the figurehead of UEFA, he has to back his commission in coming to the right conclusion, even though he wasn‘t part of it.
