Impossible to know which way it will spin. Often, these announcements lead to a drop-off in form. Have a look at United's results when Ferguson announced he was retiring early on in the 2001-02. He later reversed that decision and results picked up.

On the flip side, when Heynckes announced he was leaving Bayern they went on to win the treble.

And after Pelligrini announced he was leaving and Pep taking over our season fell away. We only qualified for the Champions League at the end of the season on goal difference.

Bye bye and good riddance. We should find next season easier with him going. Hopefully they will bring in Gerrard who will certainly be the next Ollie/Ten Hag.

I am so gleeful because it is 'them' and it can be dangerous for us as they have additional motivation for the last push for the title.
But I am also a bit sad because EPL is loosing one of the best and the most charismatic managers in its history.
It is also good to hear it is nothing serious with his health, he just ran out of energy.
Never forget how much he’s slagged us off, influenced referee’s and made excuses for virtually ever single loss so I say, fuck him, German twat.
